As someone who is CURRENTLY in art school, the idea that a professor would think his student is a FOOL for pursuing stable work instead of struggling to attain a job in art that, at that moment, he literally didn't want, is so damn shitty. The idea that talent HAS TO BE monetized, as well, or it's WASTED, fuck off, he's a human being. He lost his fucking family and you're badmouthing him for not feeling like pursuing art anymore.
